“I stayed at The George Townhouse as I was attending a wedding at nearby Blackwell Grange. The hotel understood about the wedding timings and facilitated a smooth check in process. My room was superb with a good sized bed and beautiful roll top bath. What made my stay was the service of the staff and how they went out of their way to accommodate any needs I had. “The Taitinger room was up 2 flights of stairs and in a very old part of the hotel. It was renovated but there was mold smell. We had to stay in that room because there were no other rooms available. We had booked a suite but it didn’t specify where it was in the hotel. I ended with breathing problems and wheezing. The next day hotel switched us to a newer part of the hotel where there was no smell of mould.”
