“Fantastic location, convenient base for short Ullswater stay. Staff mostly great and welcoming, rooms very clean, corridors and paintwork showing wear and many scuffs. Room tea coffee facilities excellent, evening meal was very average and probably over priced. Breakfast, service and overall environment lovely and excellent service. Set us up well for the day and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Would definitely consider a return stay when in Ullswater. ”

“After a 10-hr journey, this was heaven. The staff were friendly and welcoming, food was plentiful and delicious, and the room was well-appointed. The shower had high-pressure hot water and the orange/basil scented soaps and lotions are divine. ”

“Excellent hotel and apartments, We stayed in the apartments on the hotel grounds this were to a very high standard with everything you needed. My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available.
