“Very efficient, clean little cabin on the lake. beds were very nice and sheets/pillows felt brand new. Comfy couch and easy chair. Basic kitchen needs (cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, silverware, flipper, etc.). Nice coffee maker and toaster (all clean). No frills. Bring your own entertainment - we could not figure out how to get the antenna to work for the tv and not enough cell service or wifi to use it (not that we came to watch tv but just wanted to veg out for a bit after dinner. “Great location. House was very clean and organized. Had good supply of cooking equipment. Beautiful lake property Did not use the basement at all. Felt unsure about the stairs without a hand rail. ”

“My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. The water frontage was great; however, it was too chilly to enjoy it. The place was clean and spacious and we all really enjoyed it. The area was quiet too. The place looks like it would be perfect in the summer. ”

“My family and I rented this cabin over the 4th of July week/weekend. The Cabin itself was very nice! Plenty of places to sleep. Big kitchen with a big kitchen table that fit the whole family at dinner time! We were able to launch our boat at the public launch and dock on the pier. Very very clean lake! The kids enjoyed the big yard, boat rides, the beach down the road. Overall this was a much needed family getaway and would definitely love to come back! Dan the host was very informational,……

“Nice place. All the basics for a guys fishing trip. Clean and comfortable. Some blackout shades on the east side would be nice as 5am sunrise shines bright. Bring your own soap or body wash and at least 150' of extension cord if charging boat batteries at the dock. We know the drill and would be back.”

“Our first night was great the win picked up Friday and an old cottonwood fell on the owners pontoon motor. The neighbor came over and helped me clean up the driveway, incredible people do exist. Host answered my call prompqnd apologized. Mother nature always wins, thank god everyone was safe. 5* hospitality. Woukd recommended this place to anyone! ”

“Clean and convenient to the plethora of fishing lakes. Super nice couple own the property. It's not what one would consider a secluded Northwoods retreat since it sits on a busy highway, but if traffic isn't a concern, it's a great place to stay. For my fishing trip, it was perfect. Had plenty of room for truck, boat, and trailer along with an electrical hookup. I would definitely book again. ”

“Stay was a blast overall. House was very clean, layout great. Fireplace was welcome when it was six below. Kitchen well-stocked except lacking any spices save salt. Manager told me health regs preclude condiments being left, which is a first for any of us. Nice to have access to lake where we walked out and talked with ice fishermen. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Northern House! The house was clean, inviting and had so many amenities. This property offers a private dock on the lake, paddle boards, kayaks and a small boat that we used for fishing.
