“We loved our relaxing getaway at this lovely little home that was built by the owner's grandparents. We would definitely stay again! It was cute and quaint, and I could almost imagine my grandmother bringing out cookies as we lounged andwatched the birds.”

“La Hacienda Rio is a beautiful property and we absolutely loved our stay. The house itself is gorgeous, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. The porch was spacious and had lovely views. The host was fast and easy to communicate with. The river was just a short walk from the home, which was fun to explore, and shallow enough for kids to walk in. The house is in a quiet area outside the city and really felt like the Texas Hill Country. It was a restful stay and we would visit……

“This was perfect. The set up, view, and peacefulness of this property was perfect. The hostess was responsive and personable, the beds were comfortable but the view and the wildlife make this place exceptional. The road getting in is a little unsettling the first time you do it, but otherwise, this is a 5 star spot. ”

“The host was great and very responsive to answer any questions beforehand. We used the jacuzzi, pool table, outdoor playground, gas grill and even the Juke box. The house layout was perfect with 3 king beds, attached bathrooms plus extra rooms for the grandkids, giving everyone plenty of space. We had to clean all the dishes before we used them and some of the floors could have been swept better, but overall we enjoyed the place. ”

“This cabin was perfect for a group of 9. It had everything we needed and I appreciate the amount of towels available. There was great outdoor space on the porch and in front for safe kid friendly space. The kids had a blast and can’t wait to go back. ”
