“Wonderful property for a large group. I felt like it didn’t matter what the weather was, we were covered for entertainment. It was beautiful for our stay, so we were in the water and on the pontoon!A couple of things that we had to go to the store for was dish soap and dish washer detergent and toilet paper. “This was our 1st VRBO experience. We came to town for our daughter’s wedding; We needed lodging to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. This home was perfect for us, clean and cozy, well stocked. The 2 young children (ok, the adults too) enjoyed the toaster to make waffles by morning and the fire pit to make s’mores by night. “This was a great hotel for a low key traveler since they had everything you needed but a little more basic setting. All staff were friendly, room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the continental breakfast stayed well stocked even within the last 10 minutes of it closing, it was very quiet (we saw various families but never heard them), and the price was reasonable. “We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend @ Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. The layout of the home is perfect. The kitchen is at least a 4 person working kitchen so that was great. The additional dining space was a plus. Due to inclement weather, we ended up having a great 'game day/night' at the table. It was enough for 6 people. The levels of decking was a bonus as was the boat house play room. It was nice having a long dock at we brought two fishing boats along with us. You won't regret renting this……
