It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. “This hits all the check marks of our requirements for our 17th wedding anniversary. The solar-powered cottage on top of a hill is cute, warm and comfortable. We came prepared with sleeping bags and food to cook at their grill. The toilet/sink in their barn met our needs. The highlight of the place is the view both from the cottage and from hiking the lookout of the property. Their dogs, goats and cows are friendly.
