“We came down for my granddaughters finish up at Georgia Southern school of nursing. A graduation and pinning. It was a great stay. We really enjoyed the home and it provided enough space for everyone. Enough sleeping rooms and bath rooms to allow comfortable sleeping and no rushed bathroom times. Easy access to highways and school.”

House is located on a private lot in a small, quiet neighborhood. Fenced in backyard is great for kids. All the essentials were provided, only suggestion would be a mop/Swiffer in the event of spills. The washer and dryer, and provided supplies, were really beneficial. “We stayed at his property for three nights. The host went above and beyond to familiarize us with the area and even taught us how to crab and fish. The house is home from home (has everything you need for a relaxing vacation). Our kids (9-14) enjoyed kayaking in the creek, crabbing at the dock and fishing in the stream. I would definitely return to this property for our next stay. ”

“After enjoying time each day at our Family Reunion. It was very relaxing to come back to the Savannah Retreat and spend hours talking with my kids. The house had enough space for 8 very comfortable. The location was minutes from the hotel the rest of the family was staying in. Thanks so much look forward to next year ”

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! As family arrived in Savannah and then……

“Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!!”
