“This two-level house is an 18th Century Methodist meeting house, meticulously restored and full of period furnishings. It has modern appliances and was quite comfortable. The property is managed by PenFed Realty in Lewes, and they can give you more details. It's really not a beach house, but the beaches are nearby, as are restaurants and a great ice cream shop.”

“This house was an adorable 2 bedroom historic exterior feel. Quiet street backed up to the walking trail. Walking distance to town which was great. Big kitchen and living room space which was totally comfortable for hanging out. I met my neice who was flying in from Mexico who I haven’t seen in years and we had an epic girls weekend in Lewes and this house was perfect for us. So comfy like being at home. The trail access was ideal. ”

“This lovely home has three distinct levels, which was perfect for our family of 6, including a toddler. First floor living room is comfortable, and the front, closed-off office was terrific for a working holiday. Primary bedroom and large shower on main floor as well. We really appreciated the full basement. Upstairs are the other bedrooms as well as a large loft. So much space! Oh, and the screened porch was very welcoming. This was one of the most well-stocked homes I’ve ever stayed in,……

“The house was maybe one of the best houses we’ve rented. So much space, charm, and accessibility to town and beach made it amazing. HOWEVER: You will be charged extra over the amount you see when you reserve on Vrbo. It’s a fee to the management company. You will also be expected to bring your own bath towels, linens, bath mats, etc. You will also be expected to check out by 10 AM and have the dishwasher unloaded so don’t plan on breakfast that morning if you have a group.
