“We had a great stay at this rental during our weekend trip to Chicago! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It was the perfect home base—quiet and peaceful in Chesterton, but still within easy driving distance to the city and local spots like Indiana Dunes. “Certainly not a place I’d like to see a lot of kids, but if you like historical properties with modern comfort this is a must. Beautiful views of the lake, mostly nestled away for privacy, and great sunrises and sunsets. ”

“The property was perfect for our family! It was such a quick walk to the beach that I was able to take multiple beach walks between short rain showers. It was also close enough that we walked to grab pizza for the kids. The host was super communicative and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again! ”
