“This is a hidden gem. We wanted to be able to travel from Iowa somewhere that was a 5-6 hour drive. The rental was priced well with many amenities. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. The host was kind, communicative, and extremely responsive. We will return. We even have friend’s from Iowa looking to visit now. Highly recommend this quiet and quaint getaway!”

“We came here for a three day weekend, little family getaway. There were 12 of us, five adults and seven children, ranging from age 4 to 16. We all had a great time! The swanky bar and the garage game room were the hotspots. There were plenty of fun activities for everyone to do! We all loved all of the retro amenities, from the popcorn maker, record player to the jukebox and everything in between We had a few issues with the hot tub, but the hosts were readily available to help with it. “My partner and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect property. The home is decorated aesthetically, and is a perfect size for a couple or small family. Everything was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Highly recommend this property!! ”

“We just loved "The Nook"! The home and grounds were very clean and well stocked with supplies. Hiked, played games, went to the beach, played Bocce Ball in the huge yard. We also made s'mores around the fire pit and had a family table tennis match. The game room above the garage was well used...a favorite place. It was nice that the kitchen was so big that everyone could eat at the same time. Thank you, Penny!”
