“The check-in experience was a bit troublesome. I arrived late at night, the front desk assigned me the wrong room, which required me to go back and forth to update my key card. After I was unable to open the door again, a staff member accompanied me upstairs and opened the room and then we found this one was already occupied. I hope this didn’t alarm the guest inside. “This is a must stop any time you are near by or even if you are going out of your way. The hotel and gardens are endlessly enjoyable. Explore great art, beautiful surroundings, delicious food and drink and wonderful service. You will not be disappointed except by the no dog rule for the museum. “Very clean property but needs some SERIOUS maintenance in my room. I am handicapped and walk withva cane. I came with two small dogs so was placed in a dog room. The vinyl tiles are peeling up all over the room creating a trip hazard. The bathroom door is falling off its hinges and the bathroom fan needs replaced. There is no safety bar in the tub to grab.”

“Rooms decorated with a theme, ours was James Dean. Parking in front of room, ground floor. Train stops blowing whistle at night, but vibrates the room. Advertised 2 beds, all rooms have a king bed only. No ice machine. Comfortable bed. Okay for one night, close to petrified forest national park.”

“Myself and a friend were beyond satisfied with the choice we made. Stargazing was the goal and this location and host far exceeded expectations.
