“There is not a free breakfast, and room cleaning isn’t there unless you specifically ask for it…. getting that out of the way up front. As long as you realize that going in, the rest of the hotel is just lovely and comfy. There are tons of nearby cafes and restaurants within a short walk, and they will clean your room, but you gotta ask via phone the night before or the morning of by 7am. ”

“Very comfortable and well decorated. Complementary water (in a can) and filtered water stations on every floor. I loved having a huge window although it wasn’t a very nice view from the back, just gray lifeless roofs. The only things that would’ve made it 5 stars to me is if there was a soaking tub and a longer duvet— I’m 5’11” and my feet were sticking out of the bottom. Overall a good place but I’ll probably try somewhere else next time just to see what else is out there. ”

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
