We had many family dinners instead of always eating out, which added to the fun of vacation and spending time together. We loved walking every morning and walking to the local grocery store, local cafe, and even a Starbucks across the street. It was a great stay all the way around! ”

“There was room enough for everyone. I like the recording ring doorbell. I like bathroom connect to bedroom. I didn’t like the wide open vent in the floor leading to bathroom. The bathroom door is on backwards. The coffee pot was molded. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. The bed is too close to the wall. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. I probably would stay there again but the price was high for the condition of the house. This house needs a lot of maintenance.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. I just didn’t agree with us being put out due to the Parking situation when it was no other complaint. We are very reserved as a family.We knew the rules however this was very frustrating. I am the Birthday girl of the party. And we had a funeral the same day that we attended. But no complaint otherwise great experience. Owner was very pleasant and chill thank you for helping me overall celebrate my 30th in your home and the quick gathering after the funeral. 9/10……

“Big things: - THIS IS NOT A TWO BATH HOUSE. There is one full bathroom and a powder room. The listing is wrong, there is no second shower and we would never have booked for our party of 6 knowing this, so now you know too. - The cleaning standards are subpar, DO NOT STAY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN. So many examples I could list but, sticking with big things, the worst was the floors were so dirty everyone's feet/socks turned black and we found a plate of moldy hamburgers in the microwave. “I stayed with my husband and two kids and we all had an enjoyable stay. My kids especially loved the back yard which was immaculately maintained and great to sit and relax in. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for the month we stayed there, from cleaning supplies to utensils and pans. We were not lacking in anything. My husband was working from home so the office space that was a little more private and separate from the main living spaces was a huge benefit for him. Wity any……

“Our family of 4 plus dog had a great stay. Easy drive into Chicago. The neighborhood is very quiet and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Interior of the house is nicely done with newer appliances and 4 bedrooms with queen beds in each room. Would stay there again. The grill was missing a propane tank but that was minor and Host offered to bring one for us.”
