“We spent a long weekend at this house to escape the hustle and bustle of our busy lives for our wedding anniversary. My favorite parts were watching the sunrise against the Potomac River and relaxing in the hammock. It was so quiet, save for the occasional motor boat cruising by on the far side of the river. The house had all the basic necessities, and met all of our expectations. If you’re looking for a peaceful waterfront getaway, give this house a try. ”

“Very impressed with location and amenities! Screened in porch was used a lot for sunrise and sunset watching. Peaceful but only a 5 - 10 minute drive to any action. Family loved it and will look to book again in the future!”

“Absolutely the grossest property I've been too. 5 spiders, 1 centipede, 1 dead cockroach. Master bedroom and bathroom both had see through curtains so people could look through. Hair in the sink and wads of hair stuck to the bathroom hinge. Window AC units had gaps in them so bugs could come in without hindrance. Leaves in the ac ducts(how). Couldn’t even cut the grass for before guest arrive. We didn't even stay there. ”

“Well appointed cottage in central location close beach and bay. Many extras not found in other rentals. Owner did a beautiful job decorating, and it was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed at. ”

“This beautiful and thoughtfully furnished home provided comfortable accommodations for our group. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful with questions and concerns about the home and the surrounding community. The pier provided convenient access to the creek for fishing and crabbing, but we found it difficult to launch a kayak and canoe from the site. The out buildings blocked our view of the serene creek from most of the home, but the creek was pretty throughout the day……

“Quick last minute mini trip was ah-mazing! We had never been to Massanutten and wanted to get a feel for it in the off season….we totally shoulda gone during ski season but did not regret going in the off season. So many things to do and so little time! We could spend 2 weeks here! Such a beautiful place, with tons to do and it is so quiet and serene….major stores are a bit of a hike (10-15 minutes away) but isn’t that the point?!? We saw more wild animals than we have ever seen! Had more than……

“This home is absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect for someone who wants to kayak, fish, boat or swim in the Potomac River. The house boasts three large adult rooms with comfortable beds and ensuite private baths. The Kitchen has ALL the amenities and is well stocked. The bunks in the kids room are tri-level, so larger adults would really struggle but kids will be very comfortable. The hostess was very open with her communication and the property was absolutely spotless. I highly……
