“Great spot! House is fantastic, they did a really nice job with the remodeling and renovating. We loved the deck as well—gets a good amount of sun and is a good hangout spot. The yard is huge for games like frisbee and tossing a football. Only demerit is the dock—for one, it needs some redoing because it's falling apart. And two, it's not really set up to walk directly into the water because of lily pads and debris/rocks. But the community beach is within walking distance, so still not too……

“A hidden gem. This lovely little cottage is a sanctuary of peace and relaxation. Extraordinary sunsets! Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Easy check in and very gracious and responsive hosts. I will most definitely return!!”

“We stayed in this cute cottage and were very happy with it. It's small, but I love how they make use of the outdoor space. It has a screened in porch as long as the longer side of the cottage. There is a table and chairs there, we sat there and had meals with a beautiful lake view. Each cottage also has a picnic table and a grill. there are about 8 kayaks there available to the guests. We paddle around a lot of the lake, which is fairly big. There are lots of trees at the edge of the lake. It……

“The Cottages at Harvey Lake are adorable. The cottage had everything I needed such as clean towels for showering, a coffee machine, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a sink, a two burner electric stove, a table with chairs and a comfortable bed. If you like cooking outdoors there is a three burner Weber grill. However if you are into grilling, bring your own grilling tools. The lake was very clean and is spring fed which is great for dogs and kayaking. This place is pet friendly for our 80……

We love it here for the lake and the charm the cabing has, but most importantly the owners are amazing. They greet us when we arrive like old friends and are available for any need that may arise. “The house was better than expected. You can tell the owners take pride in their property and provided everything needed and more. Ellen and Pat were very friendly and available but not at all intrusive. It was far enough away but close to everything as well-a true retreat. The water was warm and clean with a sandy bottom and the beach area was well maintained. Would definately go back!”

“I would highly recommend the Lakefront House on Pleasant Bay. It was perfect for my wife and myself and our Golden doodle. Its bed was very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck or down on its dock. I was worried that there wasn't a beach. But there is a lovely beach just down the street at the boat ramp. Where they have "Lake hosts" checking boats for foreign weeds that and lovely to talk to. We were informed that its water is the 2nd cleanest is all NH lakes. Indeed. Favorite……

“Our family had a wonderful staycation at loon lake cottage! It was the perfect spot for our small group to spend time together, enjoying meals, swimming, fishing and kayaking. The hosts were very responsive and hospitable. ”
