“Spacious and very close to Hammondsport. Good ratio of bedroom to bathroom Ample parking. Very close to noisy/busy road. Per listing, property still under renovation. If staying here recommended bringing tables and lamps for bedrooms and lighting for living area. (Bulbs and or switches not working. Window coverings would be nice. o ”

“This was our third stay at this property. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub and propane fireplace a nice bonus, as well as indoor fireplace. Beds are firm, but comfortable. House is well stocked with everything you need. We especially love the layout and everything is on one floor. We also love the porches and enjoy seeing the wildlife. “Great stay! The house is equipped with everything! Extra spices and oils for cooking; shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers; outdoor toys; and more! Beautiful master bedroom and bath. House is located in a great location, so much to do all around. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and using the outdoor grill to cook. Beautiful sunsets at the front of the house! “I am originally from the area and wanted to “go home” for a few days. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, linens, etc. for my family’s 5 night stay. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch and watching the birds and deer in the yard. My husband and daughter had a blast fishing the pond, catch and release of course. We felt just at home and will absolutely rent this cabin again. The owners responded quickly to any questions I had but also gave us……

“This was our last family get away before my kids left for college. The lake is beautiful and the house is perfectly situated on the west side (which we prefer). Recommend visiting Dr Frank vineyards and eat at Park Inn. If you are planning on cooking bring stuff from home. Not a lot in terms of grocery stores. We rented a boat which was perfect for our trip. Host is lovely. And you cannot beat the views! ”
