“This property is beautiful! It’s less than 15 minutes from Lago Vista, which has a grocery store and food places, and is about 10 minutes from a beautiful spot on Lake Travis. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the owner was very helpful and kind with check in and questions during our stay. One thing to be sure you are aware of is that there is no running water, and the bathroom is a port-a-potty. This was fine with us, but we didn’t see this detail before arriving. It just felt more like……

“A cozy and quiet place in the forest with a sunrise view. We went with some of our friends and enjoyed . The only complaint I can find is that there was no toilet outside the room and if someone wanted to use the toilet, they had to wait until everyone was awake in the morning before they could go to the toilet.”

“Was a wonderful stay at the hotel. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff made it a great experience. Unfortunately the weather put a damper on some things (flooding was close by, but didn't affect the hotel) on our travel but Comfort Inn in Burnet took care of us.”

“Driving in to this remote spot we did have a few doubts. But once we arrived, we found it to be absolutely divine! Diane and Dennis were so warm and welcoming - as was the house itself. It was large and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating - on the porch, in the living room and in the dining room. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms are a great size. The kitchen setup is functional and it was well appointed with everything we needed. The decor was eclectic and lovely making us feel so……
