“Very clean! Jacki was extremely helpful with all my questions about local places to eat and see while we were there. Great location! We were able to go to the Burnet Bluebonnet festival, strawberry farm in marble falls, and cool off near the slab close to the house. It was a great getaway for our little family! Highly recommend! ”

“The location of the house is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the river. Pastries, juice, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice treat. The sheets on the bed were dreamy! “This is a nice quiet place with beautiful views. The house is comfortable and the location makes for great sunrise and sunsets!”

“This was not as advertised. There isn't a safe path to the water, and once you get there it looks post-apocolyptic at best thanks to the alligator gar skeletons and murky water. Also, this says it sleeps 4, but there's only a full size bed in the corner of the room. So it sleeps 2 uncomfortably close. We left shortly after we arrived.”

“This is the 2nd time this year (April & Nov.) we have stayed here. The 1st visit was booked w/a competing rental app, but we saved about $600 booking through VRBO. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary & my birthday. The home is in a neighborhood, but still feels quite secluded. The houses on either side were empty during both stays. Plus, it’s on the corner of a cove that sticks out into the water a bit further than the neighbors. Once again, the peace & beauty were stress free & healing. ……

“We stayed two nights at “The Ponder.” It was a perfect spot for us. We were in the area for some family business, so we were sad that we didn’t get to spend as much time at the property as we wanted. We could have sat for hours on the deck overlooking the river. Just so beautiful and relaxing. We did work in a hike; down to the river and along about a mile along the riverbed. We had planned to go for a short hike in a nearby park, but why? When you have your own park to enjoy peacefully! ……
