“Everything was great except the parking. Had a great time, we went ice fishing and just hung out in the cabin. The amenities were great, they had everything we needed. The parking is on a steep incline and is enough for about 4 vehicles. I'd suggest 4x4 for the winter. Overall great experience. ”

“The cabin was spotless and beautiful inside. We had 5 guys and had room for four of us on beds and one of us on the couch. The beds and couch were very plush and comfortable.Plenty of dishware and miscellaneous condiments for use. Host provided a full welcome document with what we could or could not use as well as local recommendations for food. Host also had a Blackstone for use which was clutch for doing some grilling in the winter.Overall a great host and I would recommend this location to……

“My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in……

“Place worked well for my group of friends taking their annual ice fishing trip. We had an issue at the beginning with a mix up with the cleaning crew, but the hosts were available, communicated well (even later in the evening as we didn’t get their til 9pm), and corrected the issue to my liking.Great location. Admittedly, we are an easy group to please (4 men that just want to sit on the ice and fish), but we were happy with our stay.”
