“My wife and I stayed here for Fourth of July weekend. The location literally could not be better as it is in the heart of salida right by the river. You can walk to everything and have a great time. The space is clean and comfortable. Most of all, Connor the host was extremely accommodating to some difficult asks by my wife and I. 5 star place. 10 star location. 15 star host. ”

“The unit is in an old historic building downtown. Maybe 100 ft from the river park and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. A welcome respite after 5 days in a van. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Salida. ”

“Right on the river, the views and sounds of the Arkansas were fantastic. Caught some big brown trout right out the backdoor. Would have loved to use the fireplace, but that may be a winter setup.”

“Overall, had an excellent experience! We tend to prefer locations away from the crowds so this place was excellent - 15 to 20 minutes into Salida with a beautiful drive. Beautiful views from the back of the property of the Arkansas river and surrounding mountains! Very relaxing! Listing (pictures) was mostly accurate. Swing was not around any longer and access to river was doable but not as easy as it looked in pictures. We tend to cook in for breakfast and lunch/dinner and the unit could……

“The shower was really small. No table. This unit combined with #3 was perfect! But by itself would not have been as enjoyable. We had a great time with our friends ”
