“This cottage was cute as can be! The beds were comfortable, although not queen beds. One kid slept comfortably on the couch. We could see the lake from the front of the house and the kitchen. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs at the front porch, hear the water as you watch people walk by or drive by in their golf carts and waved. It was a nice little neighborhood. Its relaxing to be close to the water, and there's a little boat ramp a short walk away where there were people fishing and the kids……

“Perfect!! Excellent communication from Aimee prior to arrival and coffee station was a wonderful surprise. Front porch set up with bistro rocking set and perfect for morning coffee or a glass of evening wine. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were furnished with all necessities. Location spot on for the purpose of my trip. Very nice alternative to the hotels and definitely recommend for your next trip to Hillman.”

“Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Close enough to Alpena that you can experience some of what a city has to offer, far enough away that you have peace and quiet. The kayaks got put to use on the river and everything that we could need had been thought of. Plenty of dishes to use. Plenty of chairs to sit by the fire. Plenty of firewood to burn. Check-in was stress-free. We met the host for a quick tour and they were available via text if we had any need. Cell reception in the area was spotty,……

“The process was painless and it's the cutest little place. That allow pets, so that's why we chose it. But the location is the best part. Right next to Hubbard Lake. A nice morning walk to see all the beautiful houses and the lake and wildlife. Is so peaceful and serene. A true magical getaway.Loved it.”
