“This cottage was a lovely place for a weekend getaway for 3 adult siblings, spouses, and our dogs. The house was very clean and had an open floorplan that was conducive to visiting and playing board games. The kitchen was very thoroughly equipped. While the cottage is clearly geared towards summer rental, it was also lovely in the winter. It was warm and cozy and we loved the easy access to Lake Michigan, which was stunning in the ice and fresh snowfall. The only slight concern for us was that……

“Our stay was wonderful! A great place for families with kids of all ages! They supply most all of your daily necessities, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, shampoos, any kitchen item you can think of… Various coffee makers, crockpots, etc., they have pack ‘n plays, extra sheets, towels & beach towels(located in the pool bathroom). A huge gym, with assorted balls provided, game room, and a large, beautiful pool area and hot tub. The amenities are endless, but most of all, this is a space……

“We had a wonderful time in new buffalo. The house was perfect and in an excellent location. Jeff was easy to communicate with a few simple questions. Parking was easy. The house was clean and so spacious. I personally Cannot wait to come back. This stay was 7 adults and we had plenty of room to sleep and relax. ”

“This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. We brought our dogs with us and they loved swimming in the water. I can't speak to how busy it is during the peak summertime, but we had the entire stretch to ourselves. Loved that! “It was great for a winter weekend getaway. We didn’t use the hot tub or sauna so no word on that. We also couldn’t view the wildlife. But the pinball machine and massage chair were amazing for the indoor activity. No dead bolt and we couldn’t figure out where the pop machine was. BUT we have already booked it again for the spring and summer. It was small, as listed. It was clean with fresh linen. We look forward to checking out the hot tub and beach next time. ”

“The house was clean and quite adequate for our 3 day stay. We met Mr. Marshall when we arrived (he was there with a crew working on furniture and some repairs). He was very pleasant, as was the crew. We like to cook for ourselves. The stove was not completely functional -- shelves do not fit, and the interior needs a good cleaning. “We had a great time at this property in New Buffalo. The location was great - just know that in order to get to the beach and downtown, you need to walk around the marina. There is no cut through. The house was very clean and well maintained. There were plenty of starter supplies like towels, shampoo, dish soup, etc. The house didn’t include basic pantry items, but the listing was very clear on what was included and what wasn’t. The hot tub was fantastic - it was extremely clean and functional!……

“Not able to get into the house until 30 mins after check-in time due to the cleaning staff. When we did walk in, the house had a bad odor, like wet dog, or a dirty wet mop. Our children were so excited to use the swimming pool/hot tub, but when we arrived, both were unusable and the outside sitting area was a complete mess. The pool was filled with debris and a greenish color. There was mold/scum all over the steps/entrance into the pool that we had to scrub ourselves. The hot tub smelled like……
