“We were greatly surprised by the seclusion and vastness of the area. The photos on Vrbo do not properly represent this remodeled property! I suggest the owners update the gallery. There ARE window treatments in the bedrooms and the owners have created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated the welcome book with its suggestions and recommendations for local fare. If y'all are driving up, and plan on cooking, (the kitchen is wonderful and fully equipped) bring your own food as the one and……

“House was great and centrally located to what we were doing. We would definitely stay again. But the listing needs to be updated. They have changed some furniture which changed the number of people it sleeps. It was supposed to sleep 8. There is no longer a bed option in the living room so it sleeps 6. We were originally supposed to have 7 in our group but 2 couldn't make it so it was fine but if they came we wouldn't have been able to sleep everyone.”

“It was a great property. Centrally located for good tourism opportunities. The house had pretty much everything we needed, other than a mop. If we come back, I would definitely bring a baby gate to keep my small child safe.”

“Our family had a great time staying at the sunshine shack! Lots of room, never felt like we were on top of each other. The basement game area was great for our teens and adults. Extra fridge in the garage made storing everyone’s food simple. The park across the street was great for the younger kids and a family game of kickball. Just one wish would be for a second bathroom but did not ruin our stay at all. We would definitely stay again! ”

“If I could give it a 6 star I would. All 10 of us were delighted with the accommodations. Our Host and Hostess supply almost everything you will need. Food and drink are about all you need to bring. Tastefully decorated home,huge bedrooms,spacious bathrooms, 2 dining areas, not including the fire pit. Ample parking for 10 guest, their trailers etc...Did not to leave but works calls. Ran into our Hosts downtown. Great people,with great communication. Will definitely book this home again. 6……
