“We were greatly surprised by the seclusion and vastness of the area. The photos on Vrbo do not properly represent this remodeled property! I suggest the owners update the gallery. There ARE window treatments in the bedrooms and the owners have created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We appreciated the welcome book with its suggestions and recommendations for local fare. If y'all are driving up, and plan on cooking, (the kitchen is wonderful and fully equipped) bring your own food as the one and……

“My family enjoyed a true home away from home experience! Cozy, comfortable bedrooms and a great layout with multiple places indoors and out for spending time together. Well though out little perks, from the delicious snacks, games, firewood, second full fridge and a large kitchen well equipped and stocked with most staples. I will be back!”

But plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Spacious kitchen. Centrally located for trips to Munising/Pictures Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Easy checkin and checkout. ”

“Fourth time to Munising; second time renting The Dutch. The cottage has all the amenities we need and more. The location is exemplary - walking distance to local beaches, coffee and downtown services. Our kids enjoyed renting electric scooters from the next-door, Camp Store. Munising is a 45 minute drive where you can rent pontoons or kayak Pictured Rocks. Less than a 45 min drive to other notable beaches. Grand Marais is the best! ”

“It was a great property. Centrally located for good tourism opportunities. The house had pretty much everything we needed, other than a mop. If we come back, I would definitely bring a baby gate to keep my small child safe.”

“Our family had a great time staying at the sunshine shack! Lots of room, never felt like we were on top of each other. The basement game area was great for our teens and adults. Extra fridge in the garage made storing everyone’s food simple. The park across the street was great for the younger kids and a family game of kickball. Just one wish would be for a second bathroom but did not ruin our stay at all. We would definitely stay again! ”
