“We spent the week following our son playing baseball. The property allowed us a peaceful place to land, great location and wonderful amenities - very comfortable for the three of us and our dog to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed the fish! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. ”

We came from our homes across the US to gather in Quincy and celebrate our 70 years of friendship and our 75th birthdays . The Home is very comfortable , impeccably clean , well appointed and beautifully decorated . Our Host was very kind and accommodating and her decorating creates a warm welcoming environment . “We loved the apartment and thought it was a good size for the two of us. It was clean and everything was easy to find. The apartment had a kitchen with some utensils and pans to cook with. The bathroom had all the towels that you need. There was a walk in closet for all of your clothes. There is also a washer and dryer for laundry right outside the door. The plumbing does make a loud noise once in a while, so if you don’t like loud noises it could be an issue. But it wasn’t too bad, we got used……

“Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances.……
