“I like that we were able to check in late. However, we had car issues and couldn't get there till about 5am. I asked them to move the dates from June 13 to June 14 to June 14th-June 15th. They said that since I checked in at 5am that they wouldn't switch the day because that's considered a full day. They also said when I called that me checking in late wouldn't be an issue. However, they put me as a no show and then when I got there they gave me an occupied room and the guy gave me an attitude……

“Comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. We loved catching up on movies we never watched and taking hikes on the quiet roads. Lots of deer to watch. Off the beaten path a bit but plenty of good restaurants within a 15-20 min drive. Would definitely visit again!”

“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. “The housekeeper they had on staff for the second floor needed some retraining or someone to check behind her, but once I went down and discussed it with the front desk staff it was handled right away which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3. ”

“I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. ……
