“The Cottage at Ravens Roost was a wonderful venue for us to rest as we explored the Shenandoah Valley. The dogs on the property were so friendly and adorable! We loved watching the horses in the mornings. Not to mention the farm fresh eggs and the raspberry lemon bread that we were surprised with when we arrived! Excellent hosts, excellent stay. “Absolutely lovely VRBO tucked away in Shenandoah. We had an incredible time and everyone raved about how lovely the accommodations were! There were SO MANY beds that were so comfortable, a lovely hot tub and the VIEWS were amazing!!! Pictures do not do this place justice! The customer service was also incredible. Highly highly recommend if you want a place for a large group to get away! ☺️”

“My partner and I stayed over christmas in what was the perfect cottage. If you want to believe that you're in some tiny small town america during christmas, this is the perfect place to be. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing christmas.I've had in a long time. The stove is wonderful and makes me want to upgrade mine at my own house and the rest of the appliances are also amazing. Ten out of ten, we'll be staying again.”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. First, we arrived after dark entrance into the cottage was easy. When entered the cottage it was truly magical. There was a beautiful Christmas tree. The large beautiful king size bed was decorated for Christmas and the bed was very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The scenery was both pristine and fun. We felt as if we were alone on this beautiful piece of land. There were animals in pens that we enjoyed watching goats, a pig and……

“This is a lovely property right on the water. It was perfect for our 4 person family and dog. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch and exploring the river banks. The zero entry river bank was perfect for our water loving dog to explore. We even took our paddle boards up river to check out the small islands, turtles, and birds. It was a great location in regards to the national park entrance and downtown Luray. Just buckle up for the bumpy dirt road drive in! Spotty cellphone service kept……

“Spent my 40th birthday at this gem! Beautiful location. Close to SNP and golf. Neighbors were friendly. The only recommendation is to buy some lounge chairs for deck or outside sofa for friends to lay and gather after a long hike. Maybe sectional in living too. Beds were comfortable. Lovely way to bring on the big 40!!”

“The downstairs area would not get warm enough to stay downstairs, the wood for the back porch was rotting too underneath so we stayed off that, and I’m not sure if it was someone who stayed before left a box of beer by the jacuzzi. Overall we had a good time. ”
