“The staff at Hydra hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in room 201 with spectacular corner views of the port and was right next to the breakfast area with its own outdoor area. Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. I carried my heavy bad myself, having not understood how many steps there actually were and would not recommend it! We had the corner suite with the balcony overlooking the port, and almost wanted to stay out their the entire time, but were very glad we ventured out and took Mike's recommendations for dinner and daily walks. He was always very eager to help - even offering to act as a payment intermediary when the kayaking company would not accept credit card payments. He definitely went above & beyond.
