“Surreybrooke cabin was so lovely. A "shabby chic" oasis. The gardens were beautiful, and the wrap around porch was my favorite spot. There are 3 levels, so be ready to climb stairs. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to see in the area. The scones were yummy, and the cabin provided everything you may need. I hope to be able to come again in the future.”

“The overall property is need of repair and cleaning. The fence around the property was missing and damaged. Piles of concrete padding and material from renovations were piled and not covered. Steps to back of property leading to room lacked handrails. The new concrete steps were slick. The room was very well decorated. Parts of the walls were damaged. The two blinds in windows were broken.. The furnace ran constantly due to the other visitors kept raising the thermostat. The price of the stay……

“We loved Maryland and my son says it’s one of the most beautiful places he’s been. Less than 15 minutes from a charming little town called Potomac with shopping and good food. The property is lovely and the rooms were great. We used the kitchen and watched movies to wind down. Our trip into DC was smooth and the scenery was beautiful. We plan to return in July 2026 and bring the rest of the family. ”

The listing states there are 6 beds, all in bedrooms, but the 6th bed is actually a pull-out couch in the living area, so 1 person in our group had to sleep in a common area, which was not expected when the booking was made. Bedroom 4 is in the basement, with 2 queen beds and no bathroom access on the same floor, and with the closest bathroom being a half bath on the main……
