“We had a great stay here. Riverside building with sauna room and balcony. Very cold in winter while stay at balcony but luckily we saw aurora in midlight . “We were here from 23 to 27 January 2023 and enjoyed our stay very much! Routa was perfect! The location was away from light and the glass windows were so clean, we could stay inside and step outside to take pictures when aurora arrived. We saw aurora on Day 1, 3 and 4, i.e. a 75% chance. We used our private sauna every day, so relaxing. And we ordered afternoon tea every day, yummy and affordable. We tried the fireplace as well, it looked gorgeous in pictures. “We loved our stay at the cabins at Snowhotel. The staff were so friendly and the cabins were lovely and modern. There were so many activities: we got to play with the husky working dogs and even say hi to the 12 new puppies, feed the reindeer, and take a beautiful snowshoe trail for views of the fjord.
