“We booked this property for a two night stay in Langley which is the cutest town about 15 minutes away. The house and furniture are outdated and needs to be updated. However, the house is very comfortable and it has all the amenities you would need. We cooked in the kitchen both nights but the pots and pans really need to be replaced. The views are spectacular and we got to experience a beautiful sunset. Overall, this is a comfortable place to stay but do not expect modern and new……

“Our family had a wonderful stay here. There was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. Everyone’s favorite part of the stay was sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, a family of otters and bald eagles. I would love to stay here again! ”

“Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.". ”

“We had a nice comfortable stay in this little A frame for 4 nights. Lots of turns getting there but the great host made sure we found it. Communications with the host were great. One of our favorite places to visit was Langley and it was only 7 miles away. Since the island is only 37 miles long, pretty much every is close. So that future renters will know, sleeping arrangements are a big bed upstairs and a kind of twin bunk beds downstairs. I’m 77 with two new hips and I was able to climb the……

“Very cozy, clean, and quiet . Perfect location to relax. Also close enough to grocery store and restaurants. We enjoyed how peaceful the beach on the far south end of the shared beach was. Thank you!”

“My family stayed here for a week and I strongly recommend this house. The house has a great view of the mountains and water Also the kitchen is pretty well stocked for those who plan on cooking some meals. It’s just a short 1 mile walk down to the water/park for those who like to explore and very close to the downtown area! The owners are very friendly and quick to respond if you have any questions before or during your stay. We will definitely be back!”

“The location was five stars, along with the view each morning from the deck and the evening wind down. The mattress on the downstairs futon was amazingly comfortable, It was only six or seven minutes to the IGA, which met all my needs. I would stay there again.”

“Great little cabin in a small grove of trees. Lots of wildlife and privacy. We watched a bald eagle eating dinner in one of the trees, walked to the bay, enjoyed hearing the frogs. ”
