“We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries.”

“The house is spacious lovely and made a great base for trips to Langley and whale-watching excursions. And we were visited by a doe and her fawns several times. All in all, a great time was had with our friends!”

“Starting with the front door lock, their solution for remembering the code was brilliant, and it made me wonder why everybody doesn't do it like that.Beautiful views and beautiful interior. Kitchen is filled with new appliances and everything you could ever need to feed a family of 14. ;-) The beaches to the north are fantastic and wild even though only a short walk away,from the house. Plenty of bird-watching, seal-watching, people watching (although more birds and seals than people) and -……

“Soon as I walked through the front door, I knew I'd be back! This is a magical place: clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Communication with host was excellent, and the view and beach were absolutely magical!”

“ Cute little place. Deck with view was lovely for morning coffee or evening wine. Right next to another house so felt a bit hampered on chatting or laughing too loud. Great location to explore island. ”

“What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. ”

“If you want a view of the sound that can’t be beat, this is the place for you. 10/10 would stay again!Our stay was excellent. House was pristine/clean condition when we arrived. On the warm side, but plenty of fans and open windows cooled everything off real quick. Bed and pillows made for a wonderful nights sleep as well.”
