“We stayed at the Vista for 2 night and loved it. It was quaint, clean, and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It had a little patio out back with views of the beach. Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. It was great for us but not if you want a hearty breakfast. Downtown was about a 30-40 minute walk but they also had a taxi for $10 you could……

“Liked most everything. Sat on their private beach enjoying the great weather. Had a great meal in their restaurant. One negative: the lighting in the bathroom was too dim. Barely usable when looking in the mirror. The hall mirror had NO lighting whatsoever making it totally useless. ”

“This property was beautiful. It was quiet and clean. I do believe it is more a bed and breakfast than a legitimate hotel. The staff, specifically Deb and Julie were fabulous. They were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. They truly did everything they could to make our stay great. The few complaints I did have were due to my own misunderstanding of the property description and issues outside of the staff's control, like the couch in our room being ridiculously uncomfortable. “This hotel is amazing! Beautifully setup inside and takes you back in time a little. Rooms are well kept and updated. Everything is clean and (this sounds so strange) it smells wonderful. They really take care of their spaces so well. The location is perfect. Right next to Salem Commons and across the street from all of the quirky shopping spaces. I had the best time running out at night and just walking around in circles. For anyone who is interested in the Hocus Pocus locations, the hotel is……

“We stayed for a few days with my husband and parents, and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the main Salem spots easily. When we arrived, there was an issue with the smoke detectors which was promptly addressed by the host. You can occasionally hear some street noise outside, but we were able to sleep well with a little white noise. Overall would recommend!”
