“This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! ”

“Purple Waves is a comfortable and well appointed house to get away from it all. A huge window overlooks the lake, It's a mesmerizing show moment to moment as the light and weather shift throughout the day. We stayed the second week of April and the area was quiet and empty -- quite peaceful.Everything is as described in the property listing. A big plus is the house guide notebook which is very detailed and contains local attractions and amenities. The section on local hikes is particularly well……

“I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. “This was a cute cabin along the south shore of Lake Superior, a quick bike ride to a couple of smaller towns and about 25 minutes to Bayfield. There is a short walk to a beach cove which is secluded and beautiful. Less than a 10 minute drive to Hidden falls hike which was gorgeous! The host was very responsive and flexible, and the place was clean and organized. Would definitely spend time here again! ”

“What a find! Spent a long, snowy spring weekend enjoying all The Barn had to offer—including comfy beds, a warm wood stove, a well stocked kitchen, and a deep soaking tub. The views of the forest and meadows from the windows were ideal. The trails just outside the front door, even better! The property is near enough to Cable or Hayward to be convenient and suck used enough to be peaceful. I will be back!”
