“We came up to go ice fishing on Lake Vermillion and needed a place to stay that wasn't too far away. Lowell and Nancy have a beautiful home tucked in the pines with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Our family of 5 spent 4 nights at Stoney Shores. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living room, where we spent all of our time together either making food, watching movies, cuddling by the fire or working on hobbies on the large butcher block counter. We ventured down to the water and outside at night to watch for shooting stars. All communications were quickly replied to and always helpful. The location was nice to be near many state parks as well. We hope to be back some day!”

“Over all the property was exactly as expected. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped. The arcade games were a big hit with the kids. Our only complaint is that the lower level and the two main floor bedrooms were very cold. Some rooms only reaching around 60 degrees, sometimes only in the 50’s. Super cold weekend so maybe.this is to be expected. Maybe some space heaters?? Overall we loved the house!”

“The location of this property is gorgeous and the home is reasonably comfortable. If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. Having grandchildren playing on the deck, with sliding glass door viewing into the shower, is not ideal. We read the reviews and brought our own curtain to cover the window. We left them behind so maybe the owner……

“This property was perfect for us and our dog to be at while we were having loud work done on our house. The paths were great for taking them on walks and ensuring they were not stressed out. We would love to stay here again ”
