“We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in an old post office. The accommodation is comfortable & has everything you need. Steve, the host, who met us at the property was very friendly & helpful. For us the best part was the view of Loch Long & watching the boats come & go. We were lucky as the puffer boat moored up at the pier & we got to go aboard to have a look around. Highly recommend. ”

“This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment. We come to visit family once a year and it suits us well. It is clean, comfortable and in central Helensburgh, with all that it offers. It is close to Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and the sea lochs nearby. We are fit and don't mind the 43 steps up to the apartment, but anybody who has mobility problems would find it difficult to access this apartment. We plan to use the apartment again. I cooked this time, which is unusual, but I could……

“As a family with two small children, the apartment was ideal. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, and the view from the sitting room to die for! The kids loved using the binoculars to look at the boats in the bay. The bathroom is small with just a shower (no bath) but fine for a few days. 5-minute drive from the big Co-op in Rothesay.”

“Everything was great except the listing says it has a hot tub as an amenity, and I expected like an outdoor hot tub Jacuzzi, but there was none. Other than that everything was great, easy to find, easy to get to town, lots of room.”

“This is a very concise, beautifully thought out space with a deck overseeing an expansive gorgeous valley filled sheep, birds, rising sun and moon. Iona and her husband could not have been more attentive and helpful. My husband and I have traveled the world seeking prehistoric monuments and sites and Kilmartin Glen is moments away as is its museum. The concentration of millenia of sites is exceeded only by the number of rock art sites even nearer the Pod. We recommend it highly!”
