“Glencruitten house is one of those special places. Immaculately presented accommodation, helpful staff and lovely food. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quirkiness of the woods, friendly chickens, peacocks and alpacas make this a place I will re-visit.”

“The bed and breakfast was delightful. We had a fourth floor room with amazing views of the harbor. The place was decorated well and was very welcoming. They provided separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash unlike the other places in Scotland where we stayed. The gal that was working was so nice and helpful. Our room was quite spacious and decorated nicely. The bathroom was huge with a large shower and a large soaking tub. Bed was comfortable and roomy not just a double. It was close enough……

“Pay for parking, but everything is in walking distance. Shower is the least favorable, warm water only, but great for the price. ”

“We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep. The bathroom is amazing. If we drive up to Scotland we will again considering stopping over maybe for an extra night to visit also the……

“Really comfortable inn with a terrific menu and five stars really doesn’t begin to do the stuff justice. Incredibly nice people! We had a brilliant time.”

“Really spacious room/suite comfortable bed, great view, great location for ben nevis etc. Shame the restaurant was closed but this was made clear from the point of booking, this just would have been an added bonus”

“I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.”
