“So peaceful! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some great mountain biking. Lots of wildlife and very good wild swimming.”

“This is an ideal base to explore the south west coast of Scotland. Beaches, coastal walks, gardens and castles all within 1.5hrs of Moneath; most within 1hrs drive. Fully secluded with plenty of space, inside and out for kids to run around and enjoy themselves.A few small suggestions to make the accomodation stay even better; 1. Include a pint of milk and some breakfast items 2. Include bathroom items such as shampoo, body lotion etc. 3. Include gloves for the fire place (for novices)These are……

“Lovely stay at this comfortably cosy cottage. Hosts were great. Lovely welcome basket also tea, coffee and sugar. Great dog friendly cottage. Fantastic location.”

“It was very clean and well presented. The rooms were great. Having a washer and dryer made a big difference with there being 12 of us. From 4 year old grandson to myself and husband both over 70! The rest in between. Could do with a bit of a facelift. Garden was great. But again could do with tidying. ”

“We had everything we could Have thought of, the lodge was clean and tidy and everything was provided. We loved the stay and the park Was well kept, I would like to just mention the food, my little one is curious soul and perhaps putting food in second bedroom that could be locked out of the way, as We didn’t check, but he Did”

“Lovely above stable flat. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside but only 10 mins drive from nearest town. Very warm with wood burning stove and central heating.Well equipped and very comfortable ”

“The bungalow cottage was lovely. Very clean and perfect for a family of 4 with a double bedroom and two single beds in the other bedroom. There were TVs in every room with Freeview and broadband wi-fi was supplied free of charge. The cottage was on a quiet street and we got parked bang outside the front door every day. The location was central so that nowhere in the surrounding area was more than an hours drive; Galloway Outdoor Activity Centre and Stranraer being the furthest away. Linda……
