“The home has an air quality issue. I only waited a few days to review to make sure my deposit would be returned. This place has bad vibes. Upon entering the home we noticed the smell of mold. We slept in the living room on the dingy futons because the bedrooms smelled so bad. We hoped it wasn't as bad as we thought but the next day we had horrible headaches and congestion. If we didn't have a wedding to be at we would have just left. We spent three nights in this place and it was miserable. We……

“Overall, the place needed. All complaints we had were was not well lite on the side of the house where you entered. Stairs to the second floor are tricky to someone who has a disability.”

“This house was perfect for our extended family vacation. The house is very old but the owners made a lot very nice improvements. You can tell there are more things to do though. Communication was not that great but they were very nice when we did hear from them. Super easy check in”

“The James River cottage is a quiet and peacful escape. The view of the river is very beautiful and relaxing. The cottage is very clean and neat with a great deck over looking the river. Its very comfortable for the three of us, and the location is perfect for visiting Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. We hope to return someday. ”
