“We stayed at this cottage for our annual spring fishing trip to Lake Erie. The stay was fantastic. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked very well, enough room throughout the place for our gear and didn’t feel cramped, outside electrical outlet and hose hook up to use, and finally easy access in and out. Was great to have the outside deck for winding down after a long day of fishing.”

“This is the nicest cottage. Tucked away and very private and peaceful. Host was easy to contact and gave us great advice on what to bring. Would rent this for sure again!! Great hideaway and suggest it for Fall as well. The Island was great to see without the hussle and bussle of summer!!”

“The cottage was very clean and convenient to all the Lakeside fun, without blocks and blocks of walking. The owners are in the house next door and truly could not have been kinder or more helpful. The only slight drawback was that the AC was window units in the living area and the master bedroom. The second bedroom was quite warm, especially with the morning sun coming through the block window. We got some fans and were good. Of course, the best part was being able to bring our beloved pup!”

“It was so relaxing and sweet getting my mother and her sister together. And my sister, my cousin and myself celebrating our birthdays and enjoying each others company away from the big city noise. The perfect girls-trip. ”

“ The owner has supplied visitor needs and was very responsive ( timely and helpful) with any questions we had. The golf cart was a great addition. It’s an older property but is well maintained . The steps are steep but the bedrooms are large and work well for a family or group. ”

“We love staying at Darrin and Stacy's cozy cottage at Lakeside. It's the ideal location and has all the amenities - no need to pack your own sheets! It's a great place to make family memories.”

“This is our first time being in Lakeside during the busy season ( usually come in the off season) The house was conveniently located near the entrance and not too far from the lake or town. The home was clean and well stocked with basic supplies. We had to turn the ac units on when we arrived but we were comfortable within a decent amount of time. Our kids loved having their own play room to sleep in. It did get a little warm during the day so we had to have their naps in a different room.……
