“This was our 3rd stay at the Rails to Trails Lakehouse. Although the weather was cold and wet, we had a great relaxing weekend and even caught a few bass.”

Short drive to the stores and casino (which we enjoyed) Would definitely recommend to family and friends.The only disappointment was that huge tub in the master bathroom is not a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. It is just a huge tub.”

“Quiet neighborhood with excellent views of Elk mountain. We could walk dogs approximately 1/2 mile loop around the lake. The house is very clean with comfortable furnishings and we enjoyed a wood stove fire that was perfect after a day on the slopes. I would love to enjoy the wrap around porch and fire pit in the summer months sometime in the future. Host is extremely responsive and we felt welcomed”

“We loved this place. It was so quiet and there was so much to do despite it raining most of our stay. Our hike to the waterfall was lovely. There are beautiful fish in the lake. The kids loved the game room! Adults loved the hot tub! We would definitely stay again!”

“We had a great stay at the Blue Elk Lodge. The place had plenty of space, was very clean, and the communication was great. It is in a very rural area, but super close to Elk Mountain which was the reason for our stay. I would definitely recommend to others!”

“We had a great few days here in Pleasant Mount. We have a family of 15 with grandchildren ages 8-17. The house was very comfortable for all of us. The boys loved fishing in the pond and all of us had fun in the pool and playing pickleball when the rain stopped. The house was very well equipped and clean. We ate many meals at home. Most days were very rainy and cloudy but we had fun inside with plenty of room for us to play games and cards. The host Jennifer was very available to contact with……
