“We had great experience at this property hosting a small wedding ceremony with friends and family. Living spaces and kitchen were ideal for large groups while providing enough private spaces so we weren’t on top of each other. The large, lakeside yard was perfect for a simple ceremony with a beautiful backdrop.”

“We had a great stay at the Blue Elk Lodge. The place had plenty of space, was very clean, and the communication was great. It is in a very rural area, but super close to Elk Mountain which was the reason for our stay. I would definitely recommend to others!”

“Great property. The amenities are perfect, and it has everything you might need! The hot tub, kitchen, indoor decor, perfect. Only note-there is a giant blue lives matter flag painted on the house, I did not see that in any photos. That might matter to some people either way, so wanted to bring it to your attention as a potential guest. ”

The location is beautiful, on a lovely lake just ten minutes from the lovely downtown Montrose. We have stayed twice at the house and plan to do it again for our next northern reunion.”

“Quiet neighborhood with excellent views of Elk mountain. We could walk dogs approximately 1/2 mile loop around the lake. The house is very clean with comfortable furnishings and we enjoyed a wood stove fire that was perfect after a day on the slopes. I would love to enjoy the wrap around porch and fire pit in the summer months sometime in the future. Host is extremely responsive and we felt welcomed”

“It was quiet and way off in the mountains its a beautiful place ”

“We were greeted on arrival by the host, who was very accommodating throughout our stay. The house was inviting, comfortable and equipped with anything we needed. We tried several of the recommended eateries, and enjoyed each of them! Great place to stay if you’re looking for a house by the lake!”
