“The property is in a great location with ample space. Rooms were spacious and furnished well. We just had two minor comments - the stove top runs very hot. The upstairs shower/tub combo only has water for tub - the shower did not work. We had a very nice relaxing holiday and would rent the house again. Also, I have already recommended the place to a friend.”

“We came for a wedding and had a lovely stay. G ot the tail end of Hurricane Helene and were high and dry. The beach is lovely. I had for gotten how much I enjoy Atlantic beaches. There is also a pool for those who don't want sand between their toes! The unit was well stocked and had everything you would need to cook a meal. I hope to come back to Emerald Isle!”

“We had a baby shower for our daughter and son-in-law and the main floor was great for the occasion. The kitchen, dining area, living area, bar and half bathroom allowed us to move about easily without guests needing to leave the main floor for anything. There were two sitting areas and plenty of dining spots available so that everyone had somewhere to socialize. The outdoor deck was off of the main floor and was beach accessible as well, which gave us extra space and a chance to get some fresh……

“This property met our needs exactly for a small family reunion, plus remote work for my husband. The owner worked with us on a very last minute reservation and was highly responsive and proactively engaged to make sure our visit went well. Most notable was the comfortable bedding, amazing ocean view/beach access, and convenient location in the middle of Surf City. The custom bunk beds were especially appreciated, as they accommodate full-sized adults without wobbling or squeaking. We'll be back……

“My family of 12 ages ranging from 8 to 64 had a lovely Thanksgiving. We were able to cook a full dinner. We all sat around a large table. after dinner stroll the beach in the moonlight, and play games. This was enough room for everybody to be very comfortable, spacious different games and conversations were held. No one was bundled up over each other, the water temperature was great. The water drainage was excellent. The house climate was great cleanliness was great.. The beach views from the……

“House was as listed: well appointed, very nice main room, great ocean views, nice quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and chairs, fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts were easily accessible and helpful. ”

“This was a great location and beautiful place. Had all the amenities that the site said it did. The Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/silverware, pots and pans, etc!!!!!!!The only downside to this, we were not aware that when we arrived, we had to make our own beds. This is not something that I/we have ever had to do in any other VRBO we have stayed at. would have been nice to know this before we got there.”
