“When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. “Room is in the morden style but is large enough to put 2 luggages. Have hot water available in the room which you dont need to boil water for hot tea.
There are a few hot spring available and all of them are quite spacious and with view. You can enjoy the subrise or sunset if you have hotspring on the top floor.
There is shuttle bus pick up from JR to the hotel.”
“We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. ”
“Highly recommended. The staff was attentive to every small detail and was super helpful with suggestions for my trip and reservations for amazing dining in the area. I am usually very picky about hotels and do not have a single complaint. Breakfast was also top quality and the spa is amazing. 10 out of 10”
"Excellent Lake Biwa view on 9/F. The room in 9/F is new decorated and contains modern facilities with Japanese classic style. The private hotspring is good. The Japanese breakfast included is also good.
The bath room should have curtain for guest who is shy. The location is very peacful but no convenient store or any facilities nearby. Need to drive car by 3 minutes to the nearest convenient store."
