“The hotel is in the center of center of Accra. Old Accra. The neighborhood is a market. Crowded, horrible traffic. I spent 30 mins to circle around the hotel in a taxi! Traffic, everyday! The hotel is old and stinking. The room was big but not clean. And I was astonised about the size of bathroom, so small. Even for an asian, it was small. The most "interesting" part was the restaurant. Before I talked to the hotel manager, they gave only one breakfast for the two of us, though we were staying……

“The rising phoenix or Akuma Village (how the locals call it) is a simple and lovely Place to stay. The Beach is just 1 Min away. The Staff is verry kind and the food is fresh & excellent. “Overall, the place was okay and very convenient to access Accra. However, the shower temperature was fluctuating constantly and there would be times when scalding hot water would randomly come when I was showering which was painful, so they should fix that. There were also cockroaches inside the hotel rooms.”

“This apartment is located right in the heart of Accra. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The security on the apartment was very good and the receptionists were very helpful, especially Winnard who couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was very spacious and Air Conditioning in every room. If I come back to Accra again I would 100% stay here.”
