“Really enjoyed our weekend getaway for my wife's birthday. The room was large and very clean, kitchen area had a microwave and all utensils needed. Bathroom was large and clean and had soap, shampoo and towels provided. Breakfast was available every morning around 8:30 am and consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt and home made muffins and baked goods.
The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. Beautiful new porch on the front of the building that we enjoyed every evening……
“The breakfast was amazing , beds comfy - my suggestion since it is quite dark is to offer some light up plug in magnification mirrors to have if anyone needs. It was just very difficult to see to put makeup on and tweeze eyebrows.
Possibly space heaters available as it got unexpectedly quite cold -

“The Attwater was a beautiful hotel, in the heart of Newport, but on a quiet sidestreet that made it easy to relax. The staff was wonderful and very helpful when answering my many questions. I highly recommend it and hope to stay there again in the future!”
"The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking !
We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the light either! We pay more for a water view room, but end up had no view and no good sleep!
Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
