“What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. “Lovely property in safe and quiet area. Direct access to beach, although we did not swim there, but very clean. Room was very spacious and comfortable although lacks natural light. Pool area is very nice with loungers and seating, some in a shaded gazebo. There are books and games available. Breakfast catered for us as vegetarians, fruit and cereals plus cooked options. “We had a lovely couple of nights stay. It’s a great location for visiting Umhlanga, everyone was lovely and the accommodation was extremely comfortable with a lovely lounge at the top of the property, with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend and will stay again when next visiting”

“Location was ok, the beach was close. Not many restaurants nearby within walking distance. The room was really nice and clean and the garden and the pool were great. We booked via hotels.com a room including breakfast, but at hotel they asked money for the breakfast. Owner of the place was not friendly or helpful. The staff was polite but a little bit helpless and not very good at customer service.”
