“Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. “Poooooor shower water at 11am after we finished Lion Rock climbing and covered with sweat. Told them when we checked out but the manager just smile easily with "so sry" and then charged me 200 rupee for a bottle of water. And their wifi is soooooo bad. Loaction is not good in Sigiria, tuktuk is the only solution. I recommend to stay closer to the rock. ”
