“Stay was pleasant. Wish the pool was open. If Hotel.com knew it wasn’t in working order,then we probably would have booked elsewhere. We also booked a pet friendly room and were told that they could accommodate us due to the pool not being open. Even though we had booked a pet friendly hotel. Thankfully we were able to bring our puppy to the room. The reason for our trip was to pick her up. But the room served its purpose. ”

“We stayed here for a weekend family holiday gathering. Only 4 of us spent the night, but we had a total of 13 people for a meal and social time. The home was spacious and perfect for our group. There was plenty of seating for all in the dining area - and also in the living room. The kitchen had everything you could need for a large meal - so many plates, silverware, crock pots, serving spoons, etc. We enjoyed the walk down to the river and in the woods and appreciated seeing the farm. The only recommendations we have are to put a small table next to the sink in the bathroom to put Extra items on while getting ready in the morning and a table next to the bed however we were able to move a cute little portable shelf and use that between the beds. “We had a wonderful stay while the autumn colors were ablaze all around us. The roads winding through the hills and around all the lakes were just beautiful. The guesthouse had everything we needed for a cozy, peaceful, restful retreat. Check out the Interpretive Center at the Chippewa Morraine Ice Age Unit and do some hiking along the Ice Age Trail. Great hosts & a lovely location.”
