“Sparrow Cottage is a lovely cosy cottage with two outside spaces for our dog. Priests Way Walk is just up the road where the walks are fantastic. Location to main town is superb too. We had no problem with the steep stairs as there was plenty of lighting. Would definitely recommend Sparrow Cottage”

“We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids under seven and one grandparent) and we stayed at Purley for three nights. The property is well sized and sparingly but tastefully furnished. The kitchen has lots of kids crockery but the board games are ancient or have bits missing so bring your own. The outdoor space at the back needs some love and isn’t very child friendly (brambles, steep uneven steps) but we didn’t spend much time there as the beach is 5 mins walk away. After getting soaked and cold……

“The location of the cottage is wonderful, down a quiet lane with views over the river Asker and common but with it's own parking place and very near the town centre. The equipment is adequate but quite basic. We weren't able to put the central heating on during the daytime when there was a cold spell, without requesting assistance from the housekeeper. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was very clean with a comfortable bed.”
